MY INCOME AS A COUNCILLOR ON DÚN LAOGHAIRE-RATHDOWN COUNTY COUNCIL:

As a Councillor for the Dún Laoghaire, I severe on several committees such as; the Dalkey Heritage Company, the Health Service Executive (HSE) Regional Health Forum, the Asscociation of Irish Local Government (Standing Council). DEVLIN TO CONTEST THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION IN DÚN LAOGHAIRE

Cormac was selected by the members of Fianna Fáil to contest the next General Election. Cormac polled exceptionally well as a first time candidate in the last General Election attracting over 4,600 first preference votes. Cormac remains focused on tackling the issues facing constituents across the Dún Laoghaire constituency. COUNCIL SEEKS PUBLICS VIEWS ON ITS DRAFT LITTER PLAN 2018-2020

IRISH WATER GETS APPROVAL FOR NEW €80m STILLORGAN RESEVOIR PLANS
An Bord Pleanála have given approval for a new €80m reservoir for Stillorgan area. The project will secure a sustainable supply of water for more than 200,000 people living in south county Dublin. For more click here

TAKE PART IN THE DLR WINTER OF HERITAGE EVENTS
The Council's Heritage section has organised several talks and tours of local historic sites. Between now and 18th Februrary there will be several free talks and events planned. I would encourage you to take part in some of them. Find out more and download the programme here

REPORT FROM BREWERY ROAD SCHEME PUBLIC CONSULTATION PROCESS
In July/August 2017, a public consultation process was undertaken by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown regarding their proposal to improve cyclist and pedestrian facilities at the junction of Brewery Road and the N11. There were 13 submissions (including mine) received and as a result, the Council made some modifications to their proposal. Read the full report,here.
DEVLIN CALLS ON EDUCATION MINISTER TO CHOOSE MEDIATION NOT DISOLUTION OF CLONKEEN COLLEGE BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
Cormac has joined the Fianna Fáil Education Spokesperson, Thomas Byrne TD in calling on the Minister for Education to intervene in the dispute between the Edmund Rice Trust and the Board of Management of Clonkeen College. Read their statement here

All Community, Sporting, Arts, Senior Citizen and Business groups are invited to make an application for a dlr Grant. You are invited to make multiple applications under various headings. CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING & COLLECTION SERVICE
Click here to download a helpful guide on where you can recycle your Christmas tree and get information on bring centres in our area. Members of Cuala GAA are raising money for Habitat for Humanity so they're willing to collect and recycle your Christmas tree for as little as €5.
