DEVLIN DEMANDS PUBLIC ENQUIRY INTO ENERGY EXPLORATION LICENCE
OFF DALKEY COAST (KISH BASIN):

DEVLIN CALLS ON JUSTICE MINISTER TO CLARIFY FUTURE OF LOCAL GARDA STATIONS:

Concerned about the future of Dalkey Garda Station and the 24 hour operation of Kill O'The Grange and Cabinteely Garda Stations, Councillor Devlin has called upon Minister Shatter to clarify the position in relation to all 3 local stations. For more info please click here

DEVLIN GETS PROGRESS UP-DATE ON LOCAL DRAINAGE WORKS:

Local Councillor, Cormac Devlin has obtained an up-date on the local drainage works for the Sandycove/Glasthule area. The Manager has replied stating "The Glasthule Interim Storm water Overflow is substantially complete and is operating successfully. We are pleased to report that during the extreme rainfall event of October the 24th 2011 the ongoing issue of discharging manholes at the crossroads in the village did not re-occur. Modifications to the outfall may be necessary in conjunction with the proposed Baths development works"

With bus loads of tourists being greeted by a closed museum, Cllr Devlin expressed his concerns at the local Area Committee meeting demanding an explanation from Fáilte Ireland and a meeting with same to resolve this issue as a matter of urgency
