An Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Councillor Cormac Devlin is encouraging all local sports clubs across Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown to apply for the 2017 Sports Capital Programme from next Monday 23 January, 2017 from 9am. The closing date for applying for these grants is Friday 24th February at 5pm.
According to Cllr. Devlin "All clubs and organisations must be registered with the website OSCAR www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie before 10th February otherwise they wont be able to make an application. It is essential that all clubs and organisations apply for this funding because its aim is to increase participation in sport across Ireland. This grant is responsible for improving sports facilities and amenities all over Ireland over the years.
