PROPOSED DALKEY MANOR DEVELOPMENT
INFORMATION EVENING

8pm, Wednesday 8th March, The Vico, Queen’s Pub, Dalkey

Melmousa Devco Ltd are seeking permission for a mix of 29 (1, 2 and 3 storey) houses at the Dalkey Manor lands, Barnhill Road, Dalkey.  The deadline for observations to the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council is Thursday 16th March.
 
In advance of the deadline, I will be hosting an Information Evening this Wednesday 8th March at 8pm in the Vico, Queen’s Pub, Dalkey. This meeting is for local residents who might like additional information on the application or have questions around the planning process.

DETAILS OF THE PROPOSAL:

Planning Ref: D17A/0117- Lands at, Dalkey Manor, Barnhill Road, Dalkey, Co. Dublin

Planning permission is sought for development comprising:

1) Demolition of existing two-storey dwelling “Dalkey Manor” (273 sqm) and ancillary single-storey outbuilding, entrance gates, piers and splay walls;

2) Construction of 29 no. dwellings (18 no. four bedroom three-storey, 1 no. three-bedroom three-storey, 4 no. three-bedroom two-storey, 2 no. three-bedroom one-and-a-half storey, 2 no. three-bedroom single-storey, and 2 no. two-bedroom single storey);

3) 56 no. parking spaces and private gardens to each dwelling;

4) Upgraded vehicular entrance on Barnhill Road, internal roads, footpaths, shared surfaces street lighting;

5) Public open space, landscaping, tree planting and boundary treatments;

6) Alterations to site levels, SuDS surface water drainage; foul water and potable water connections; and

7) All ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development. All on a site of 0.935 hectares. The proposed development is adjacent to Dalkey Lodge, Barnhill Road, Dalkey, Co. Dublin (a Protected Structure).
