If you have recently moved into the area or have turned 18 then you should register to vote. If you have lived at your address for a number of years, you should ensure that everyone in your house is still on the register and you can do so by visiting www.checktheregister.ie  If you have any questions about the electoral register, you can call (01) 205 4880 or email registerofelectors@dlrcoco.ie


BUSINESS NETWORKING PIER TO PIER WALK - FRIDAY 8th MARCH @ 2:30pm
Join other local business owners (as part of the DLR Enterprise Week (4th - 8th March) when they set off on the 4th Pier to Pier walk. It takes place on the East Pier on Friday 8th March and you must register by clicking here and the
assembly point is at the Harbour Plaza at 2pm.


QUIET EVENINGS @ CABINTEELY LIBRARY - Every Tuesday (February - March)

COME ALONG TO THE CUALA CÉILí - Friday 15th March
It's a night of tremendous family fun, show your kids what a trafitional céilí is like. You can re-learn all those steps and dance along to the music in the Cauala Club House on Hyde Road, Dalkey There will be minerals and snacks available for purchase. #EUBeachCleanUp on Killiney Beach - Sunday 24th March @ 12pm
Come along and join Ireland's only EU Beach Clean Up Day on Sunday 24th March at 12pm. We are meeting in the Killiney DART station car park and for more information click here

Our libraries organise many events as well as hosting several book clubs in Blackrock, Cabinteely, Dalkey, Deansgrange, Shankill, Stillorgan libraries plus a Classics Book Club or the Baby Book Club for more info click here

HELP DUBLIN TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE - HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE CLIMATE ACTION PLAN
The four Dublin local authorities (Dublin City, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, Fingal & South Dublin) are hosting public information days to seek feedback from the public about how they can feed into the new #Councils4ClimateAction Plan for the greater Dublin area. STREET FEAST RETURNS - ORGANISE YOUR STREET GET TOGETHER - Sunday 5th May
2019 sees this unique event celebrate 10 years of Street Feasts! All residents groups/associations and individuals/enighbours are being asked to consider organising/hosting a Street Feast in their area. The majority of these will take place on Sunday 5th May. Last year (2018) saw over 1,340 Street Feasts take place across the country. That's an estimated 125,000 people gathering in their communities to eat food, meet their neighbours & celebrate their streets. To find out more and to register yours. click here


FREE DLR WINTER OF HERITAGE TOURS & EVENTS
If you haven't been able to attend any of the tours or events on this exciting programme which runs until 3rd March, then I would encourage you to try do so this year. It s organised by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown and all activities are free and a great way of learning or reminding yourself about the exceptional history and heritage right on our doorstep. CHILDRENS' LEGO CLUB (5 - 8 year olds) - Every Saturday 2-3pm
This exciting Lego Club takes place every Saturday afternoon between 2-3pm for children aged 5 - 8pm in the Dalkey Library branch. For more click here
