Having received enquiries from residents in the Rochestown Avenue and Churchview Road area local Councillor Cormac Devlin placed the following question on the Area Committee Meeting agenda:
Any plans for a QBC/Cycle lane for Rochestown Avenue and Churchview Road
Question:
To ask the Manager are there any plans in place for a QBC / Cycle lane for Rochestown Avenue and Churchview Road?
Reply:
A Quality Bus Corridor is proposed for Rochestown Avenue, which will be designed by the Quality Bus Network Project Office (QBN PO) in partnership with the Department of Transportation – a cycletrack will be included as part of that Scheme. This cycletrack route is included as an objective in the County Development Plan 2004 – 2010.
A cycletrack route along Churchview Road is included as an objective in the County Development Plan 2004 – 2010.
