PARKING BYELAWS
IN THE COUNTY
April 2006
Councillor Cormac Devlin has been informing local residents of the draft Byelaws currently on display in various locations around the County. "Many people have strong views about Pay & Display, Loading Bays, etc. so I would encourage people to read the Byelaws and to make a submission" stated Councillor Devlin. Notice is hereby given that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council intends to make the following Bye-laws under Section 36 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 for the Control of Parking on public roads and car parks in its administrative area:
Copies of the Draft Byelaws together with maps showing the proposals are available for inspection for the period 13th April, 2006 to 15th May, 2006 at the following locations:
1) Transportation Department, County Hall, Dun Laoghaire Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.30am and 1.00pm and 2.15pm and 4. 30pm (4pm Friday) and at Council Offices at Dundrum Office Park, off Main Street, Dundrum Monday to Friday, between 9.30am and 12.30pm and 1.30pm and 4.30pm,;
2) The following public Libraries during opening hours: Blackrock, Cabinteely, Dalkey, Dundrum, Dun Laoghaire and Stillorgan; and
3) The draft Bye-laws can also be inspected at the Council’s Website - www.dlrcoco.ie
Copies of the Draft Bye-laws can be obtained from all the above locations
Submissions are invited from all interested parties and should be made in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Transportation Department, County Hall, Dun Laoghaire,
The latest date for receipt of submissions is 12 noon on Thursday, 25th May, 2006
