Local Fianna Fáil Councillor Cormac Devlin has welcomed the long awaited proposals on the designations of Architural Conservation Area's (ACA's) by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. Information on the proposals are as follows:
In accordance with Section 10.3.1 Policy AC1: Architectural Conservation Areas of the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Development Plan 2004-2010 and Section 81 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000.
Notice is hereby given for the public display of the proposed designation as Architectural Conservation Areas, of the following areas:
a.. Clarinda Park
b.. Royal Terrace
c.. Crosthwaite Park
The display can be viewed in the concourse of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, County Hall, Dun Laoghaire between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm from Tuesday 28th February to Monday 3rd April 2006.
Any submissions on the proposed designation must be made in writing to the Conservation Division, Architect's Department, County Hall, Dun Laoghaire before 4.30pm on Monday 3rd April 2006. All submissions received will be taken into consideration by the Council when deciding on the designation of these areas as Architectural Conservation Areas.
A member of the Conservation Division will be available one morning per week (Monday's 10.00am-12.30pm) throughout the duration of the display period.
